Barossa Shiraz Estate offer luxury accommodation in the Barossa Valley. Surrounded by Vines, and with sweeping views of the Barossa Valley, each of the cottages are private, and self-contained, providing the perfect base to explore this world famous wine region.

Home to over 150 wineries, and 80 cellar doors, the Barossa is Australia’s most famous wine region.  Winemaking dates back to the 1830’s, when the first Prussian and English settlers arrived, and this beautiful regions’ rich history is still evident today in our towns and villages.  Complementing our wine industry is a rich regional food scene, wonderful restaurants and cafes, bustling markets and a strong sense of community that is unique to the Barossa.  And we are only one hour’s drive north of Adelaide.

Perfect for a romantic getaway, or for a family or group of friends exploring the Barossa, each of our luxury cottages cater for between two and six guests.  Situated near Lyndoch, and surrounded by vineyards, the cottages are within walking distance to a number of wineries and restaurants, including Barossa Chateau /Lyndoch Hill, Kies Wines and Chateau Yaldara 1847 Wines. 

Each of the cottages is stocked with fresh produce for self-preparation breakfasts, toiletries from the Lyndoch Lavender Farm, and other complimentary treats, including a bottle of Barossa wine on arrival.

Accommodation

The Barn

Once the Royal Mail Coach House, the Barn has been transformed into contemporary accommodation with style.  With original stone feature walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows, the Barn is ideal for a couple or small group of friends. 

 

On the ground floor there is a living area that opens onto a vine-covered outdoor dining area, plus a king-sized bedroom with spacious ensuite. 

 

Upstairs, there is another bedroom that opens onto a stunning balcony with panoramic vineyard views, plus an ensuite with spa bath. 

 

On arrival you will find the cottage stocked with fresh provisions, including fresh bread, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms, for you to prepare breakfast at your leisure.  Other complimentary treats include a bottle of Barossa wine and chocolates from the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company on arrival.

The Vines

If you are celebrating a special occasion, anniversary or are on your honeymoon, the Vines is the ideal retreat for two. 

 

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area has picture-book windows with views over the vineyard. The spacious bedroom, has a king-size bed and beautiful ensuite complete with spa bath. Take a glass of wine out onto the verandah and watch the sun set over the Barossa Valley.

The Loft

Offering stunning views over the vineyards and Barossa Valley, the Loft is ideal for a family or a group of friends. 

 

On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge, and fully equipped kitchen, as well as indulgent master bedroom suite, with ensuite and spa bath. 

 

Upstairs on the mezzanine level you will find two more bedrooms that share a two-way ensuite bathroom – one with a queen-size bed and balcony, the other with two king single beds overlooking our beautiful gardens.

Residence

Once a Cobb & Co changing station, this grand old home has beautiful character features including 12-foot ceilings, timber floors and leadlight.  Curl up on the sofa and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the wood fire, or sit outside on the verandah as the sun sets over the Barossa Valley. 

 

Ideal for a couple, the Residence has a gorgeous light-filled bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite with a large, oval spa bath.  The bed can also be split into two singles.

The Willows

Perfect for a group of friends, the Willows combines heritage charm with all the mod cons. The cosy lounge has a wood fire, and the modern kitchen and dining area opens onto a sun-drenched alfresco dining area. 

 

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to six with one queen bedroom and two king bedrooms, one of which can be converted into two singles.  There are also two bathrooms, one with spa bath.

Jacob's Estate Cottage

Situated on the grounds of St Hugo Cellar door, and within walking distance of Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre, Jacob’s Estate Cottage offers stylish, contemporary accommodation for up to six people. 

 

An original 19th century Barossa settler’s cottage, the property has been beautifully restored and offers three bedrooms and two gorgeous bathrooms.  It is surrounded by wide verandahs, beautiful gardens, and has an alfresco dinning area.

There are so many wonderful things to see in the Barossa Valley, and so many great ways to see it.

A guided tour allows you to sit back and relax, take in the scenery and learn about the history of the Barossa Valley while being able to indulge in the wonderful wine.

Or you can take an alternative route and see the Barossa from above, or from other quirky modes of transport.

You might like to hire a bike from us and cycle your way around the Barossa, or hire an e-bike from the Novotel.

From iconic wine companies like Jacob’s Creek, Penfolds and Seppeltsfield to family owned favourites like Yalumba, Rockford and Kellermeister, to the new wave of small, boutique producers that are popping up over the valley, the Barossa has something for everyone. There are over 80 cellar doors in the region.

Please note that some cellar doors and restaurants are currently closed.
